A Small Milestone: We've Moved to Google Workspace

Some milestones are big and obvious — a new printer, a new logo. Others are quieter, but still mark a real shift in how a business runs. Moving off a personal Gmail account and onto Google Workspace is one of the quiet ones, and it felt worth writing down.
Out with the Gmail address
Since day one, every quote, every question, every "can you print this?" has landed in a personal Gmail inbox. It worked, but it never quite felt like a business address — it felt like a hobby project with a storefront bolted on.
In with a proper studio email
That's changed. You can now reach us at create@forgeandfigures.co.za instead. Same person answering, same speed, same WhatsApp-first way of doing things — just an inbox that actually matches the name on the door.
Why it matters more than it looks
A custom domain email isn't just cosmetic. It's Google Workspace underneath — proper business-grade mail, storage, and tools built for running things at a slightly bigger scale than one person and a spreadsheet. It's the kind of unglamorous infrastructure change that doesn't show up in a gallery photo, but makes everything behind the scenes a little more solid.
Nothing else changes
WhatsApp is still the fastest way to reach us, pricing hasn't moved, and the workshop is exactly where it was yesterday. This is just the paperwork catching up to the business.
