Now Available: An RSS Feed for the Blog

Small update, genuinely useful one: the blog now has an RSS feed.

What that actually means

If you've never used RSS, it's the quiet, unglamorous plumbing that's been running under the web since before "algorithm" was a word anyone used about their reading habits. You add a feed to a reader app once, and from then on, every new post shows up there automatically — no email address handed over, no platform deciding whether you get to see it.

Where to find it

There's an RSS link in the footer on every page, and another one right at the top of the blog index. Or just point your reader directly at forgeandfigures.co.za/rss.xml.

Most feed readers (Feedly, NetNewsWire, Reeder, Inoreader, and plenty of others) will also auto-detect it if you just paste in forgeandfigures.co.za/blog, since it's linked from the page itself.

What you get

The feed carries the full post, not just a teaser — photos, embedded videos, and links included, the same as reading it on the site. New posts appear the moment they're published, newest first.
